Starting out as a trusted community provider of jewelry, Curly’s hadn't expanded its services over the past two decades and sales started to plateau.
Curly's has a unique blend of men, women, hip hop jewelry and expert jewelry repair from high-ranking jewelers. Despite the growing industry and demand for gold, Curly’s had difficulty breaking away from its perception as a neighborhood jewelry store by the wider jewelry community, which limited sales and in-turn hampered the growth of the company.
Results
In-depth research and interviews by BMG revealed that the motivations behind client's purchase decisions were changing in this market. No longer interested physically shopping, their focus has changed to cost and convenience.
BMG rebranded Curly’s Gold Connection by first designing a logo, changing its focus to their website and reinforcing the brand. We repositioned the company as the provider of everything jewelry and this was further supported by their new tagline.
Since the rebranding of Curly’s Gold Connection, the company has experienced substantial growth and established a strong online presence.
